Synesthesia comes from the Ancient Greek σύν (syn), meaning "with," and αίσθησις (aisthesis), meaning "sensation"' and is a condition in which two or more bodily senses are coupled to provide a common artistic effect; this is the very case with Priscilla Hernandez’s debut Lp Ancient Shadows, a "spectral" album based on fairy and ghost tales.

Priscilla Hernandez is an inspiring artist that brought two different art genres, music and painting,  to a meeting point that they harmoniously emit the same feeling, the same impact upon the listener/viewer.  Ancient Shadows is a work full of harmony and melancholy, influenced largely by the spectral gothic ghost tales and the dark side of folklore.  The album is presented in a limited deluxe digipack edition with two booklets (the ghost and the fairy) fully illustrated by Priscilla Hernandez with drawings and photography inspired by the songs. Priscilla Hernandez (vocals, keyboards, arrangements and lyrics, YIDNETH records initiation) claims that Roland Orzábal from Tears for Fears and Liz  Fraser from Cocteau Twins are her true sources of vocal inspiration combined with random forces of universe!

Rightly Priscilla's ethereal vocals follow the tradition of the ethereal genre, an ideal treatment for the ears of the ones addicted to the playfulness of Cocteau Twins combined with the atmospheric mood of Love Spirals Downwards.  The Lp is atmospherically enriched by Priscilla’s personal music idiom as well as with ghostly sounds, heart beats and haunted effects that provide an epic, almost classical a few times, narrative mood. A song worth featuring in the top of the ethereal genre is «I steal the Leaves» a new age song that features among the 19 illustrated song – tales among other gothic and instrumental melodies.  Enjoy « haunted houses, mourning willows, ghosts in love, hypnagogic hallucinations and sleep paralysis, nightmares and night horrors, fairies, invisible friends and other topics that nourish my world of fantasy exploring the boundaries between daydreaming, dreaming and awareness. Old fears... old passions... » Ancient Shadows is an Lp with an atmosphere so genuine heavenly, so  romantic and fairy-like that Priscilla sounds like a siren, offering a very strange mixture of both the unusual and the unconventional.  A classically beautiful work which, combined with the illustrations made by Priscilla Hernandez, creates a magical whole into an ethereal inner space-time
